The strainer can hold enough tea for 1-4 cups of tea, and it is able to fit into a mug or a small teapot. The strainer also has a drip catching lid that can be placed on the counter for the strainer to sit on when your tea is done steeping. The lid and handles are rubberized to avoid burning your fingers. The measurements for the strainer are 2 1/4" across the top and 2 1/2" tall.
