The Grosche Rio is a beautiful, elegant infusion pitcher and water jug- perfect for a warm summer day. Glass is the perfect medium for delicious and refreshing cold beverages, as it is completely flavour-neutral and will never change the taste of your favourite drink.

The Rio is hand-made by artisan glassmiths using traditional manual blowing methods, and is topped with a stainless-steel spout. Grosche glass is high-quality and 100% lead-free, expertly moulded into a sleek decanter-like shape that is a delight to hold and pour.

Rio's fully stainless-steel lid is held securely by a food-safe silicone band, which is included in both orange and red. Easy to remove, replace, and clean; the band also keeps the liquid contents safely inside the glass body. The most exciting feature is the innovative sealing system integrated into the spout: a thin stainless-steel plate keeps anything from entering the pitcher when at rest, but conveniently moves out of the way when you tilt the body to pour. Never again will you have a nasty bug sneak into your fresh-fruit infused drink on a hot summer day, or drop sliced berries into your glass!

We recommend infusing strawberries, oranges, mango, lime, cranberries, raspberries, ginger, mint, cucumbers, melons, pineapples, and more! The sky is the limit, and the Rio will make tasty, healthy hydration a pleasurable and convenient experience.

How to Create a Fruit Infusion

• Step 1: Select your favourite fruits, and slice them small enough to fit through the Rio's opening. Smaller slices will create a stronger infusion, but we recommend making pieces no smaller than your thumb.
• Step 2: Place the fruit inside the Rio, and add water.
• Step 3: Put the Rio in a refrigerator, and let chill for 2 to 8 hours. Experiment to find the strength of flavour you like best.
• Step 4: Serve right from the Grosche Rio!

Care

• Hand wash with soap and warm water. The beaker is dishwasher safe, but take care as other items knocking into it could cause breakage.
• Wipe down the body with a slightly damp cloth as needed, and dry with a soft dish towel.
